Men’s Watches from Japan

April 16th, 2009

Pimpin aint easy SSMen, are you looking for a wrist watch that will catch everyone’s eye and set you apart from the crowd? Tokyo Flash may be the website for you.

Lets face it, if you are looking for what’s new in gadgets and fashion you have to look to Japan and the same goes for men’s watches. Whether you’re trying to stay on the cutting edge of watch fashion or you just want that next conversation piece at the night club these are the watches you want.

These Japanese wrist watches beautifully mix fashion and digital technology to a level not often seen in America. Using high quality materials and advanced technology, these fashionably futuristic wrist watches make use of sharp angles, negative and positive spaces and beautifully colored lights that resemble the neon signs of the Tokyo skyline.

But these watches don’t just sit there looking pretty. Replacing the traditional numbers along with the hour, minuet and second hands for digital dots, bars and lights, telling time will never be the same.

Denshoku

Don’t worry, you don’t have to be a member of Mensa to figure out what time it is.

Most of these men’s watches are fairly easy to tell time with by using certain colors or placement of the lights to represent the hours, minutes and seconds. It’s just a mater of learning which light bar and dot represents which time unit.

And yes, each watch comes with instructions in English explaining how to read the time and as an extra bonus, downloadable instructions are offered directly from the Tokyo Flash website along with visual examples as well. It may take some getting used to but with just a little practice, you’ll be telling time in no time.

December 20th, 2007

Choosing the perfect Diamond ring can be a hard task, specially if you don’t know what makes for a brilliant diamond.

Considering there are so many different shapes and colors to choose from. Some of the more popular shapes for diamond jewelry are round, princess, emerald, asscher, oval, marquise, pear, radiant, cushion and heart.

Luckily there is a simple rule to follow known as the 4 C’s Diamond Guide:

4 C’s Diamond Guide

  • Cut – Cut refers to a diamonds shape and more importantly its proportions. A well proportioned diamond brings out the maximum beauty. Diamonds cut to deep or shallow loose light through the side or bottom, resulting in loss of brilliance.
  • Clarity – Clarity is the degree to which a diamond is free from inclusions and blemishes, which can hinder the light as it passes through the diamond.
  • Color – Fancy color diamonds aside, the best, most beautiful color for a diamond is no color at all, The Gemological Institute of America has created a scale to measure diamond color, ranging from D (colorless) to Z (yellow) Fancy color diamonds are graded Z and higher.
  • Carat – Diamonds are weighted in units called Carats. A carat is measured in increments called points, One carat is equal to 100 points. Carat weight is the easiest of the 4C’s to determine because it is measured on a diamond scale.

Remember the 4 C’s Diamond Guide is here to help you in your decision when buying a diamond ring but it ultimately comes down to your preference. Two diamonds of equal weight can have very unequal value depending upon the cut, color and clarity of each.
