Well it was bound to happen. Apparently this was just confirmed from IGN’s live blog of the 2009 E3 video game conference that coming this fall you will be able to access Twitter posts and Facebook from your XBox Live dashboard.

(11:44:19 AM): Announcing Live Party so that your avatars will sit around a virtual TV and watch it. Looks like a lame version of Mystery Science Theatre. Announcing a partnership with Facebook. Felicia Day on stage from The Guild.

(11:45:35 AM): Season 3 of the guild is coming this fall… Showing off Facebook on Xbox 360. Same kind of windowed browser as the rest of the Xbox interface. Can use friend linker, that shows XBL and FB friends in the same list.

(11:46:30 AM): Can view photos from yourself and your friends off your Xbox. Can view them in slide show mode. In fullscreen on Xbox. Can also browse status updates on your Xbox.

(11:47:34 AM): Facebook Connect is on there as well, which lets you posts screens and texts in real time. Will work for the new Tiger Woods PGA Tour. In addition to Facebook, Twitter will also be available through XBL.

(11:48:28 AM): Looks like you can view other people’s Twitter posts, and you can post from Twitter right from your Xbox. Updates instantly. Twitter and Facebook will be coming to Xbox Live this fall.

This should make for a very interesting experience. Considering Microsoft , Google and Yahoo are all trying to buy Twitter in hopes of gaining the title of “the best search engine” and the release of Bing.com being launched today; look’s like Microsoft is really making a huge step forward in trying to gain control of the market again.

Twitter will soon have 10’s of millions of users, plus the millions of people on Facebook combined with the ability to merge these social sites to their XBox Live account, this may lead to a new rise in popularity with Microsoft’s search presence.

So as I was surfing around Ebay the other day, I came across this Sexy Amature Asian Calendar for 2008, of my friend Linda V.

Besides the fact that Linda V is just starting in the modeling world, is pretty cute, and the bottom of the calendar says “Me Love You Long Time“; I thought it was funny what she wrote for her sales pitch:

“Great as a gift, or for home use, or you can even pretend that I’m your girlfriend and impress all the boys at work!! Make em jealous!!!”

Recently one of my close friends just underwent breast augmentation surgery because she wasn’t happy with the size of her breasts after her pregnancy.

It’s a Rocky Start for Kat Von D and L.A. Ink

Kat Von D is back in Los Angeles to open her new shop but unfortunately things aren’t going as well as she hoped for in the season premier of L.A. Ink.

After finding the perfect location for her studio High Voltage Tattoo at 1259 n. La Brea Avenue, West Hollywood in California; and the urge to start tattooing her fellow Los Angelenos, Kat Von D realizes running her studio isn’t going to be all fun and games.

With construction underway, Kat is off to find her perfect dream team of tattoo artists to help her fulfill her dream of the perfect Los Angeles Tattoo studio.

The Staff of LA Ink

Kat finds her self off to Chicago on a recruiting mission to grab two very talented tattoo artists; Kim and Hannah with hopes of stealing them away to work with her at L.A. Ink. Kat has a vision of running a full female staff which is sure to bring in all the women looking for fresh ink in a traditionally male dominated world. And let’s not forget all the male clients who I’m sure wouldn’t mind watching these beautiful women work their magic.

As an added bonus Kat Von D shows off her skills by finding the time to tattoo the Los Angeles sky line on the arm of Lauren from Pride Clothing, a local Los Angeles clothing line who’s motto is Show Some Pride, Pride Clothing.

With Kim and Hannah agreeing to go work with Kat out in Los Angeles, and Pixie already signed on to be the shop manager, Kat feels that a little bit of testosterone might just be a good thing to help keep things in check. So shes of to the city of Upland, located just about an hour away in the Inland Empire to grab her friend Corey Miller of Six Feet Under Tattoo Parlor to join the ranks of L.A. Ink. With some hesitation, Corey ultimately agrees and Kat Von D’s Dream Team is up and running…but she can’t say the same for the shop it’s self.

So with a client list of celebrities and appointments to keep and staff of tattoo artists ready to ink but no place to work and, things aren’t looking too good for Kat Von D and the staff of High Voltage Tattoo on this first episode of L.A. Ink.
