So this video has been making its way around the internet recently of what appears to have caught a women at the 1928 premier of Charlie Chaplin’s The Circus, who looks like she is using a cell phone. This has been refereed to the Charlie Chaplin Cell Phone video. The woman is seen walking down the street, with her hand up to her ear and is seen talking into some form of a device. Cell phones weren’t invented for 40+ years later. What is she talking into? Why does she stare directly into the camera at the end? What are your thoughts?
