So, you may be wondering where this name came from? Does this guy really have an issue with coffee? Of course I don’t, in fact see the post on the main page answering that exact question. The name does have its own little background and is worth mentioning, even if its only significance is to those who were there.
The other year back in college, we went to a video game conference next to UCLA. That’s the sort of thing you do when you are throwing away your money at getting a Game Software and Development degree. While we were waiting out in the lobby, devouring the free sugar cookies (like gamers need any other reason to get hyper) and drinking the only thing they had available to us (that’s right can you guess what that was) everyone was getting annoyed.
They were way behind schedule; it was after a long day of working and dealing in traffic to now be standing here at night when we could all be out drinking with the guys. Suddenly this women comes storming into the lobby, right to the refreshments stand and franticly looking for something that obviously wasn’t there. When asked what was wrong her only response was “I need a drink” and she was presented with the beverage of choice Coffee. To everyone’s surprise and amazement, she screams as obnoxiously as possible “ANYTHING BUT COFFEE!!!!!”
…and the rest as the say is history.
