Anything But Coffee

As if the story of Nadya Suleman, the now “famous” mother of the octuplets could get any more strange, Vivid Entertainment (link NSFW) has announced that they are willing to pay $1 million for her to star in an adult movie and a year’s worth of health insurance.

This just being announced after Kaiser Permanente; the hospital where the octuplets are staying at, has released a statement that they will not be releasing custody back to Nadya Suleman until her living arrangements are made more acceptable for the children.

So where is this all going to end up? Who knows, the media really doesn’t want to touch her anymore, her PR firm has stopped representing her, a publishing company has backed out of a book deal discussion they were having with her, she’s now doing articles with Dr. Phil and even everyday regular people who see her on the street are now verbally attacking Nadya Suleman; with good reason I might add.

Guess this is one way us tax payers wont have to worry about our tax dollars going to raise her children, but then one has to think about the moral obligations this situation has created. Are we setting a precedent where anyone who chooses not to work can just go out have as many children as they want and then wait for some one else to pick up the bill ? Couldn’t this be considered some form of child abuse, giving birth to children in the hopes that you will land a book deal or in this case an adult movie deal?

Guess we will have to wait and see.

Seriously this is a joke right? Not only do I have to pay my bills, my student loans, and be a responsible member of society; and besides all the other services my taxes go to, now I (along with everyone else in California) are going to have to help foot the cost of raising Nadya Suleman’s Octuplets???

No other nice way to put it but this is “BS”! Did anyone ask me how I felt about her having 8 babies on top of the what other 6 that she already has? Lets not forget the 6 she has that she can’t even take care of so the state tax payers aka YOU, are already paying for.

I have done everything right in my life according to society, I’m single, no kids out of wedlock, worked since i was 15, paid taxes and bills, got a college degree, contributed to society and now I’m in debt $100,000 to student loans and I now have to help take care of someone else’s kids?

Whats better is the fact that because I happen to be white, male, single, no kids, and not addicted to drugs or alcohol and have a full time job with a college degree, guess what i DON’T QUALIFY for any type of assistance from anyone.
I was actually told that hey if I had a kid or two then I would get help financially with my student loans but only if I wasn’t married at the time. What the hell is that about??

Our society rewards people who break the laws or choose not to follow rules because they know everyone will feel sorry for them and give them a hand out but the struggling people who actually make society function, the vast majority of us are the ones who get to struggle and pick up the pieces of other peoples ruined lives to help make their life better, all the while watching ours slowly dive deeper into debt and poor credit.

I wish there was a check box on my taxes that allowed me to choose where my money would go to because i can tell you this, it would not go to helping people who are expecting me to raise their kids for them, it would go to hospitals, emergency services and education, the things we need.

I am not your babysitter or trustfund!!!
