Fire broke out around 11am Friday morning at the world famous Monte Carlo Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
According to officials, the 3 alarm fire started spreading from the center section of the hotel across the roof sending black smoke and embers down to the Las Vegas Strip below.
The Monte Carlo is being evacuated while Las Vegas Fire Fighters battle the blaze from the rooftop.
Many spectators gathered on the Las Vegas Blvd to watch the blaze while others were stuck in grid lock traffic due to the surrounding streets being closed for the fire crews.
As of this time no one has been reported injured but there is talk about 4 Monte Carlo Hotel employees being trapped around the top of the building.

Obviously, not one of Hannah Montana’s biggest fans; a 16 year old teenage boy unsuccessfully attempted to hijack a commercial jetliner flying from Los Angeles, California to Nashville, Tennessee Thursday night and planned to crash it into a building where a Hannah Montana concert was to be performed.
According to Southwest Airline Flight 284 spokeswoman and FBI sources, the teen was able to sneak materials such as handcuffs, duct tape and a type of rope or yarn which he planned to use to overthrow the flight crew and crash the airplane in to a building in Lafayette, La., where Hannah Montana was to perform Friday night.
Because the alleged hijacker is a minor, not much information is being released but authorities did state that he was taken into custody by airport police without incident and is being held on unspecified state charges and could face federal charges as well. CNN affiliate WTVF reported the teen is being held at the Davidson County juvenile detention center and has been charged with felony terrorism.
Hannah Montana is a show on the Disney Channel that features 14-year-old Miley Cyrus as your average teenage girl by day but is a hit rock star by night. Her real life father, country singer Billy Ray Cyrus also stars as her father and manager.

With all the interest in true ghost stories and ghost reality shows on tv such as Ghost Hunters and Paranormal State; I have decided to share some of my personal ghosts experiences that my friends and I have had over the years.
Back in 2003 I was living in a duplex apartment with my roommate in the city of Rialto in Southern California. I was home alone and like I would spend most my time I was sitting in front of my computer surfing the internet.
I have lived here for a while and ever since I moved in I felt a strange presence in the apartment. I often was alone there but I always thought there was a ghost or something living there with us. The weird thing is that the feeling that I had and that my friend had was that it was a female ghost that was living there with us.
So anyway there I am home alone and im playing my guitar in front of the computer and suddenly I hear a haunting female voice say “I can hear you”. I stopped playing and quickly turned around looking to see if anyone came home. No one was home I was alone. I checked my computer to see if a popup window opened or anything for an excuse or reason for the voice. But it suddenly became clear that i was home alone. I started to play my guitar again to see if the ghost voice would speak again but this time I asked out loud “is anyone there?”
To my surprise I heard the ghost voice again say “I can hear you.” I started freaking out because this ghost, this voice was actually answering me. I mean I have gone through life seeing strange haunting things one could only associate with a haunted house or a spirit, ghost, what ever you want to call it but this time the ghost actually spoke back to me. So now I was a lil freaked out and started to pack up my guitar and the ghost voice spoke one more time, this time she said “Don’t you love me anymore?”
What do you say to something like that? Especially if you live in this house and now I have a female ghost asking if I love her? Well I did what anyone would do and I left the house lol. I called my friend to come over and hang out with me but didnt tell him what happened.
He and I were watching TV and we were going to get some food but I decided to take a shower first. I never mentioned what happened earlier that day and he watched TV while I got ready to leave. While I was getting out the shower I hear my friend start yelling my name Randy, Randy!!! I open the door and ask whats happeneing and he’s sitting on the couch freaked out. I put on my clothes and go out to the living room and he starts to tell me that he heard a womens voice start asking “if he loved her” while I was in the shower. I told him what happened earlier that day and we left the house.
That was the first and only time anyone actually heard the ghost speak in our apartment but it wasn’t the last time she made herself known…

How long can a person live without food is a question that has been coming up more and more recently. Could be because of the Jericho TV series on CBS or reality TV shows such as Survivor or it could be because of recent diet fads or even a homework assignment. What ever the reason, people seem to want to know how long they can live without food and some even want to know how long a person can live without water.
The Short Answer:
So how long can a person live without food? Well the answer may surprise you, but a healthy person can actually live for many weeks even possibly up to 2 months without food. But with out water is a different story. The average person can only survive around 3 to 5 days without water. So now we have to ask why can some people live longer without food then others?
First of all I want to stress that not eating or drinking is a very dangerous thing to do. Without food or water your bodies internal organs will start to shut down, you become weak, dizzy and pass out and you will die. In other words EAT FOOD AND DRINK WATER OFTEN ! The Long Answer:
A person can live without food usually for many weeks because your body will use it’s fat reserves and the protein stored in your muscles to help keep your body functioning and help you stay alive. The human body is an amazing machine. Every time you eat your body stores fat just in case your body ever needs it. If a person isn’t eating regularly the bodies natural reaction is to start storing more fat from the food that you consume. That is one reason why not eating to loose weight never works. Your body feels at risk so instead of burning the extra fat it stores it. When you are eating regularly, (ideally 5 to 6 small meals a day) your body knows it can afford to burn all that extra fat. So one way to loose weight is to actually not to eat less large meals but eat more smaller meals throughout the day.
So How Long Can a Person Survive Without Food?
The answer is different for each person. Obviously a larger person with more fat reserves will be able to survive longer then a thin person with less fat that their body can feed off of. The size of the person how ever, has nothing to do with how long someone can survive without water, everyones body will start to fail after just a few days and everyone will die.

Finally its the New Year and this Sunday, January 7th is the day many of us have been waiting for, the I Love New York 2 Reunion Special on VH1 ! No doubt with all the crazy things that happened this past season on I Love New York and all the drama that Tiffany Pollard (aka New York) and her evil devil of a women mother Sister Patterson caused throughout the house, Im sure it’s safe to say that this I Love New York Reunion special will be more entertaining then the first seasons.
I Love New York 2 Reunion Rumors?
Here is a nice list of what to expect:
- There will be blood.
- It runs for 90 minutes and is filled with crazy drama.
- An unlikely character engages in a full-on, tongues-out kiss with another person on the show. (hmmm could it be Punk and Pretty are Gay)
- A penis and a butt is exposed.
- Tailor Made gives New York the ultimate present (and it’s not what you think)!
- New York tells a guy who isn’t Tailor Made that she really loved someone else in the house
- Sister Patterson makes a racial statement such as “You can have ‘em in your house, I mean that’s your choice…” about a particular minority group.
I really cant say for sure but I have heard a few different rumors that this will for sure be worth watching this coming weekend. So let’s see so far I have heard that Tiffany may be pregnant and guess who it might be from??? Sources say it’s not the winner of the show Tailor Made but his arch enemy and runner up to New Yorks heart, non-other then Buddah! Yup the word is that Buddah got New York pregnant. Also there seems to be quiet a bit of hostility towards New York and Sister Patterson when a few of the guys team up and verbally assault both of them. Supposedly Punk ends up in a crying fit when Tiffany talks trash about his family then turns into a Hulk monster and gets all in her face and many more surprises are in store.
Now like I said these are just rumors but if they are true this I love New York 2 reunion special will be a great way to start off the new year of reality TV.
